You must become more relevant in our increasingly digital, connected world. You can accomplish this by creating high quality content on your website. Build an approachable Social Media infrastructure for your personal brand campaign with inspiring and entertaining content. We will integrate the components of social networking into this class with weekly Social Media Lessons. Social media activities will foster active learning and engagement. Active learning involves creating a digital portfolio that enhances your digital reputation.


Your Digital Portfolio


Your digital portfolio is a collection of electronic evidence assembled and managed by you. This portfolio will demonstrate your digital abilities. You will maintain your portfolio dynamically over time to provide evidence of your achievements.


Your cover letter and resume may open some recruiting interview doors for you, but many companies are using Social Media Networks like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter for recruiting purposes. Prospective employers will check a candidate’s on-line presence, so it is best to project your digital reputation in the most positive light. Start by cleaning up your Facebook page. Your personal brand and digital reputation, starts at Google’s Search Box!


Hopefully, a prospective employer will be impressed by your digital prowess and offer you a challenging position in their organization. Perhaps, you would rather leverage your intellectual prowess to become your own boss.


Your digital portfolio will include blog posts, images and videos. You will maintain a Twitter Account, a LinkedIn Account, a Pinterest account and a multi-media You Tube Channel.  As the owner of the digital portfolio, you will determine the access level and the content. As a culminating activity, you will publish your project on
